📝Day 2 of PD: Design Thinking and Project Based Learning!

How can we incorporate design thinking and project based learning to create engaging and interesting projects for our students? 💭

Our staff fast forwarded to the year 2035 and designed ideal workspaces for each other. Using the phases of the Design Thinking Process (empathize, define the problem, ideate solutions, prototype, and test the prototype), our staff created imaginative workspaces which included flexible seating for staff & students, mini skate parks, classrooms with movable screens & tables, and even a cafe style counseling office!

After the activity, our staff reviewed principles and practices of Project Based Learning! We are excited for our student to engage with Design Thinking and our Project Based Learning Curriculum! Stay tuned for the types of projects students will work on throughout the school year!
